The episode starts with Vivy being sent back in time. It’s nice to see internal consistency as the time travel visuals are identical to when Matsumoto was sent back in Episode 1. Seeing a more experienced Vivy handle the AI outbreak is interesting too. We skip from when she wakes up to when she hears her song for the first time and she doesn’t bother talking to the blonde AI any more, nor does she try to plug her cable into her, she just snaps her neck. She says sorry though, because Vivy is still the sweetest person in this world. However, because being kind to the man is why he died, this time she is strict with him and saves his life.
